Week 12 : Mini Links : 2 recipes & a cheese wheel!

Here are 2 receipes that caught my eye this week!

Do you love mojito, like me? Whenever we go out drinking, I will always order at least 1 mojito, most often 3. This recipe looks really good for a weekend bbq party or just an easy night in – books with alcoholic lemonade, sounds like a good plan!

This recipe uses bourbon but I think you can replace it with rum or any alcohol of your choice, for what you like.

Lately we have been yearning for a weekend bbq or a party of some sort, maybe we will really do it soon in June!

I love salmon – this recipe from one of my favourite food blogs looks delicious and it combines 2 of my loves : blackberry & salmon!

I saw this ‘cheese – wheel’ and it is really useful. For those who have large kitchens, you can even buy the print and frame it up. I think it looks really good against a white wall.

With this infographic, I can choose to try a gorgonzola instead of brie, if I am looking for a melty cheese, for example. It ‘sorts’ out the different kinds of cheese for you so it is really handy too.

Whenever I go to cheese counters, I will pick up the cheese and try to smell it through the wrapping or the rind. Do you do that too? I find that very therapeutic. We have many tiny pieces of different kinds of cheese in our fridge and I love buying new varieties that I have not tried before. And once in a while, we use all the tiny unused pieces of cheese and melt them all together on my bruschetta. The result would be a totally mixed up awesome piece of cheese mess!

Yum melty cheese! Now I have a craving. And I haven’t had a mojito for ages, but it’s a good idea, particularly with it getting a bit more summery here in England.

    1. i bet the weather is great now in England – like Singapore where it is very very hot!
